Slave stations in Jacques 550-series intercom system are used to send or receive calls to pre-defined master stations. All slave stations are vandal and water resistant with front panels constructed from stainless steel. The call buttons are fully sealed Piezo-type electronic switches, and the microphone and speaker are offset to provide resistance to ingress of water and foreign materials. All slave stations generate tamper alarms to master stations if they are removed from their mounting.
Slave stations have simple single press calling and their operation is totally hands-free once the call is established. Slave stations are available in a wide variety of backbox and panel sizes suitable for mounting in walls, doorways, rooms, gates. A range of models and configurations are also available, including bus or star wiring, auxiliary audio channels for in-house music distribution and relay modules for interfacing to external systems such as CCTV.
