Product Description

The Jacques VSL-154 Slave Intercom Stations form part of the 550 Series Networked Intercom System concentrator range of slaves, and comes with a Background Music Module. This vertically designed, four-button slave, (CALL, AUX CH, VOL+, VOL-), incorporates a vandal and water-resistant microphone and speaker.

They do not have on-board EEPROM memory chips to store identification codes and Tag, (as do the RS485 Slaves). The memory chips are instead located inside the attached Concentrator unit, which are only used with these Concentrator Slaves. Due to the current loop design, concentrator slaves can only be cabled in a star-wiring topology.
