Product Description

The ANM-1 is a sound pressure level (SPL) meter, with an RS-485 data interface. In conjunction with other equipment it can be used for a number of different purposes, including remote noise level monitoring and SPL metering. The RS-485 data interface makes it possible to connect many ANM-1's to the same cable run and gather the individual SPL readings from each of their locations. The ANM-1 will operate from a wide range of 12 V d.c. to 32 V d.c. power supply. This can be distributed down the CAT-5 cable to multiple ANM-1's, or it can be powered locally. If an ANM-1 is powered locally, the ANM-1 can be located up to 1km away from the host unit, as per RS-485 specifications.
