Full duplex audio (otherwise known as hands-free audio), is two-way transmission of audio when talking between intercom endpoints.
Half duplex audio can be known as push-to-talk (ptt) audio, where the master station user has to push the push-to-talk button when they begin talking. Half duplex audio is often used in busy control rooms, where background audio or conversations between master station users does not want to be heard by the intercom endpoint.
Jacques offers both full and half duplex audio via simple web configuration. All part of our advanced audio management for quality, clear two-way communication.
