Automated intercom button test

The Jacques Self-Test Button (STB) – a call button that allows for remote testing of the push button mechanism, acoustics and data communications whereby diagnostic tests are logged and recorded on the system controller. Any tests reporting a test fail triggers an alarm within the system.

Advanced call recording

If it was said, we record it.

The system utilises smart recording whereby multiple audio streams are recorded and logged. Audio recording at each master station ensures all communication between intercom & master station is recorded. Recordings are tamper proof and can be accessed remotely with appropriate user access.

The system allows triggering events with intercom or system events such as CCTV switching, light control, door release, message announcement, night call diversion (based on time), and alarm scheduling.

Auto-forward to external phone

The system is also capable of diverting an intercom call to an external phone under certain, configurable conditions.  For Example:  After hour calls from external intercom door station to phone number (remote police station door intercom called. Call is auto-forwarded to another manned police station via SIP trunk) Intercom call is forwarded to a patrolling security officer’s phone when they are away from their officer station (ie. the security officer master station is on remote).

Cell-to-cell communication system

Jacques’ Cell-to-Cell system enables solitary prisoners to communicate via intercom terminals in their cells. The system prioritises the well-being of maximum-security prisoners by providing safe, monitored communication. It supports secure facilities and governments in valuing prisoner human rights. The PC Master GUI manages Jacques’ Cell-to-Cell system, enabling administrators to connect any two inmates for manual or scheduled calls. Automated scheduling is done via JAS. The system alerts prisoners with a start announcement and allows them to cancel the call at any time. The call ends with an end announcement.

Non-contact visit system

Communication between prison visitors & inmates without any physical contact. Visitors and inmates communicate through glass/Perspex using intercom terminals (hands-free or handheld). All audio is recorded. Call booths can be monitored by the master control station.
