CYCLE RELEASE 10

We are pleased to announce the cycle 10 release of V7 and V8 Jacques 650 series IP Communication Systems software.

Major changes in V8 include:

  • The addition of the MNS feature which allows for events triggered in the system to send an SMS message. Refer to JED-0513
  • Change device settings without database editing
  • SIP Recording can now be configured via the web interface
  • Native support for JEM3 and SIPVPN recording

For the full list of changes, see JED-0521.

Please note there has been a major change under the hood from the previous cycle of V8 to this cycle, required the system to be upgraded from a separate hard drive. Refer to JED-0524 for this process.

There are several minor changes to V7, mostly to do with SIPPROXY fixes and stability.
